Village Hall Closed Over Summer
Hey folks, as many of you know we have to move during the summer due to North Lanarkshire Council’s decision not to open the Village Hall in an attempt to make it look like no one wants to use it. Despite the fact we’ve offered to pay over the odds, book another hall and not use it, to free up a caretaker and even book it every evening across summer, if it would guarantee the hall staying open. Sadly they are not interested.
As such, every summer we are forced to move to another location, this year we will be going to the Kilsyth Burns & Old Parish Church.
Where to Find us in Kilsyth
The Burns & Old Parish Church is located on Church Street and we’ll be open Thursdays & Mondays as per usual throughout the summer holidays.
How Do I get in?
The entrance to the hall is the door with number 11 Church Street.

Parking
Although the hall doesn’t have a dedicated car park, there is some parking spaces at the end of Church Street and free street parking all around the church.

When Are we at the Burns & Parish Church?
Starting from Thursday 26th of June, we will be at the church every Monday & Thursday until the 14th of August, when we return to the Cumbernauld Village Hall.
Opening Times
Our opening times will be slightly longer to allow for setup/take down, with 30 mins either side.
This means we are on from 17:30-22:30 but in that time we need to set everything up/pack it away.

The club’s Fabricator General, Lord of the Forge and all-round heretic 🙂
