The World of Infinity
Approximately 200 years in the future, humanity has spread to the stars, but old divisions remain, old superpowers of the world fade and new hyper powers rise, technology advances, death is a hinderance rather than the barrier it once was and with advances in AI, specifically THE AI Aleph humanity has, despite a few minor wars ushered in an unprecedented era of peace.
But still, the powers jockey for position and advantage, crack teams carrying out black ops to steal information, seize equipment and advance the interests of their nation and into this, an alien threat appears: The Combined Army, controlled by the ruthless Enlightened Intelligence, a terrifyingly advanced group of aliens dedicated to folding new aliens into it’s embrace. Resistance is met with inexorable force. Can mankind put aside old differences and unite against a terrifying foe that has not known defeat?

What is Infinity?
Infinity is a skirmish level wargame of exciting sci-fi combat in a post-cyberpunk future emphasising a high level of reactivity and information warfare where what you see or place on the battlefield may or may not be true. In Infinity it’s always your turn.
Assemble a small team of 10-15 Operatives and their supporting drones from 10 factions and 35 potential sub-factions across a range of different cultures and operating methods, each with their own deep narratives, to carry out covert and lethal operations in a bright and hopeful future with a grimy underbelly.
The Infinity universe began with an RPG game, and so features strong narrative theming with deep nuanced rules. However these have been refined with a focus on tournament play, meaning that the balance between the factions is superb and power creep is rarely an issue as new releases are made. In fact, several factions that are no longer in production (though still supported in rules) continue to have win rates at or slightly above 50%! With fewer players than some of the other games played at the club it is always best to contact us via the discord to make sure you can get a game.
How to Get Started with Infinity?
Get in touch! Hop on our discord server and let us know you’re curious. We’d be delighted to sort out an intro game to the setting and are able to offer armies for you to learn, while you get a hang of the rules for a unique small unit tactics game.

Nicky is our resident expert and driving force behind the Infinity scene at the club. Although a few of us are starting to get into it, he’s been a fan for a long time and there is no one better to learn the rules from.
