Campaign Update: Lines Drawn in Blood
[BEGIN VOX TRANSMISSION – SOURCE UNCONFIRMED]
ssshhhhkrrt …to any loyal command still listening… this is crackle-pop reporting from the lower hives. We have confirmation now. The rot runs deeper than anyone thought.
Forces we fought beside under the banners of the Seduced Panoply, the Thousand Sons among them, turned on us mid-engagement. No warning. One moment their fire was with us, the next it was cutting through our lines.
And it is not just them. Reports coming in from the Black Sepulchre. Chaos Knights flying the colours of the Shattered Veil have joined them. The Shadow Alliance was never outside the war. They were already among us.
kkrrrsshhht …we do not know how far it goes. Commanders compromised. Orders conflicting.
If you can hear this, trust no sigil and no oath. The Shadow wears every colour now.
pop-hiss …Hive Mordigan burns, and no one knows who is left to fight for.
[TRANSMISSION TERMINATED]

With Act 2 coming to a close, The Shadow Alliance have revealed themselves, openly aligning with the Shadow, and dropping all pretence of fighting for their original alliances. but more are still out there! Who can you trust? Additionally, we are now opening up the ability for folks to jump ship. More details on this and where things stand below:
The Tomb of Umberto II
The battle for the Tomb remains fierce and unresolved. Neither the Crimson Pack nor the Seduced Panoply have managed to claim dominance, each now holding 19% of the vast necropolis. Their struggle has turned the catacombs into a maze of blood and smoke, with neither side willing to yield an inch. The Shadow Alliance maintains its foothold at 8%, but its efforts to expand have stalled. The Tomb stands divided, its dead walls echoing with the defiance of the living.

The Mire of Saint Veyra
The corpse-choked swamps of Saint Veyra remain the domain of the Bug King’s Alliance alone. No other alliance has dared to march their banners into the Mire, choosing instead to focus on more contested fronts. For now, the Bug King’s forces rule unchallenged amid the muck and decay, though the stillness feels anything but safe.

Hive Mordigan, the Black Sepulchre
Hive Mordigan has become a cauldron of unending war. The Shattered Veil nearly achieved full control, reaching 48% before the Shadow Alliance struck back, dragging their share down to 46%. The Shadow itself now holds 38%, its unseen agents and strange tactics preventing a total takeover. Both alliances, having secured over 25% of the hive and will receive 1RP at the start of Act III for their dominance. The halls of Mordigan are blackened with the dead, but the fight for its soul continues.

The Silent Dockyards
The Dockyards are no longer silent. Da Dread Mob has cemented its rule, smashing all opposition and claiming a whopping 52% control of the sprawling wreck. Their dominance earns them the location’s boon for Act III – all members may reroll one failed Out of Action Test following a battle. While scattered resistance struggles to survive among the twisted gantries and smouldering hulls. For now, the Mob reigns supreme over Certus Minor’s gateway to the stars.

Entering Act III: Shifting Allegiances
As the Crusade advances into Act III, the war on Certus Minor enters a new and uncertain phase. From Thursday onward, both commanders and soldiers will have greater freedom to shape their fate and the course of their alliances.
Alliance leaders, known as Big Bosses, will each receive a limited number of Alliance Requisition Tokens. A Boss may spend one of these tokens to attempt to poach a player from another alliance. To do so, the Boss must contact the Administrator, who will reach out to the targeted player. The player then decides whether to accept or reject the offer. Regardless of the outcome, the token is spent.
Regular players dissatisfied with their leadership will also have a chance to change allegiance. To request a transfer, message the Administrator, who will contact the Big Boss of the alliance you wish to join. That leader may accept or reject your request. Players may only complete one successful transfer during Act III, though they may still be targeted by a poaching attempt later.
Once both parties confirm, the player must post an in character message to solidify their new allegiance. The player immediately swaps alliances. Their existing score remains with their former alliance.
In addition, current Alliance Bosses who find their position untenable may choose to fold their Alliance and join the pool of regular players. To do this, please contact the Administrator. All territories held by that Alliance will be surrendered. Players will however keep their individual score and progression.

The New Dawn Strikes! – Adding Some Balance
To help balance things a bit better for Act 3, we are bringing back some favourites from last year’s Crusade, allowing them to give boons to the alliances that could use them. Basically, the difference in tiers of your alliance vs the alliance of the player you are up against will determine some in game buffs available to you (or possibly them).

New Missions for Act 3
The new missions will be up shortly, watch this space!
