If you’ve been keeping your ear to the ground, you may have heard whispers of a Space Gits campaign coming to Crossfire…well, not really whispers, some of us have pretty much been outright saying it repeatedly to be honest. Now the time has come to make it official! Grab your passport, pack a case with as many weapons as you can fit, and get ready for a week of sun, sea, sand, shootin’, stumblin’ and swigging as we invite you to take part in Crossfire’s first dedicated Space Gits campaign: Hot Git Summer!
Hot Git Summer is themed around the idea of a spring break – a nice ‘oliday for the ladz who did a good job wrecking shop last time they hit the battlefield. And what do orks do to relax on holiday?
Actually…the exact same things they normally do. But those things are really good fun so that’s good news for everyone involved!
The campaign is going to run from March until June, and the best thing about it is that you only need to commit to one night per month.
If you get burnt out on long campaigns where you have to play every week or if you have other games you want to play while still getting the full campaign experience, this is the one for you! We’ve got a bunch of custom scenarios made to capture the summer vibes, so even if the weather’s rotten (which it will be), the spirit of summer will live on in our gits.
We’ll also be running a hobby night before the campaign kicks off, with some bits and kits graciously provided by the committee to help you build your gang, which everyone involved in the campaign is welcome to take part in!
If you’ve never played Space Gits before, this is the perfect time to get involved thanks to Crossfire’s Tabletop Together initiative. If you’re thinking of taking part, or you’ve heard us laughing and panicking from across the hall and wondered what the fuss is about, there is no time like the present to book an intro game!
