New Bolt Action Terrrain
Crossfire Gaming Club continues to be an amazing place to play the many different game systems which we have invested time and resources into supporting. We always want to bring the best possible experience to our gaming community.
To continue with this aim, we would like to announce that the club has now made a significant investment into an amazing bundle of Micro Art Studios terrain for Bolt Action & Konflikt 47.
This range of terrain is widely considered to be amongst the best on the market, both in terms of quality and thematic purposes. It comes pre-painted and will bring an immediate improvement to the quality of the tables that we can create for these games.
The bundle comprises of many different Normandy kits for the Western European front and Ostfront Winter sets for the Eastern front in the Soviet Union, just some of which are pictured below!
Earlier this year we ran a poll to gauge how many players at the club have an existing Bolt Action army. The results showed well over 20 people who have armies already, with comments showing others to be keen on getting involved.
There are plans in motion to run a small-scale escalation league for Bolt Action, which would be a great entry point for those who have not yet taken the plunge into the WW2 setting!
We hope that by drastically improving and elevating the quality of the tables that we are able to provide for this game, we can really boost its playability at the club and encourage more players to get involved.
It’s worth noting that the club has a fully painted US Western Front army that is available to use for intro games, as well as the starter set for Konflikt 47 if sci-fi is more of your thing – just enquire with the committee to get the ball rolling!
Bolt Action and K47 are both very fun, engaging, thematic and easy games to play. They
have low-cost entry points and plenty of possibilities for armies/forces to play as.
We will endeavour to have these new terrain pieces ready to use as soon as possible.
