Rounding up Orktober, Crossfire Style!

With another Orktober drawing to an end Da Boyz of Crossfire came together for our second annual Orktober Brawl. With twice the number of boyz* this year the brawl spilled out onto 2 tables of 4 with one table of Gorkers & one of Morkers.

On Da Gork Table

With raining Overboss Camy heading up the Gorkers table dakka seemed to be the order of the day as 2 Dredd mobs clashed and Kaptin Badrukk’s freeboota boyz layed down some heavy dakka. Killa Kanz wondered freely and Zogrod’s superrunts caused chaos but even with Mozrog’z beastsnagga boyz putting up a good fight it was Camy who once again proved himself to be the most Brutal & Kunnin’ leading on both scores to secure the victory unchallenged.

On Da Mork Table

The Morkers on the other hand completely forgot about kunnin’ (bizarrely) and went for straight up brutality but with not one but 2 Ghazghkull’s on the table it’s not that surprising really. Smashing everything from Boyz to Battlewagons together in the middle of the table the ladz where having a great time, all except one set of very odd looking blue gitz in the corner who just seemed to get krumped and come back for more. In the end it was lucky Makary who made the difference 13 times saving Big Ghaz allowing him to get his krump on and secure a close victory for Steve.

Who’s Da Biggest, Meanest, Ardest’ Git?

With the two tables decided it was time to battle it out for the title of Overboss on the line. Even the super cybork upgrades on Camy’s Warboss in mega armour wasn’t enough to save him from the wrath of the prophet as Steve’s beautiful Ghazghkull proxy stomped him into the dirt to claim both the title and the trophy!

Steve may have won the battle but as we all know if an ork is dies doing what he loves then he’s never really loses. So until next year may your choppa stay sharp, your dakka be plentiful & say it with us all** one more time…..
