Welcome to year 2 of The Crossfire Certus Crusade: Fires of Treachery!
Last year the forces of good, evil & everything in between took part in 5 gruelling months of EPIC conflicts. Heroes were born, villains rose & there was even a moon destroyed along the way! This year the crusade’s narrative will pick up the exact moment the previous one ended…. With the destruction of Cadia. How will this effect the Certus system and those in it? You shall soon see!
Over the last quarter of the year bespoke scenarios will be released each month to create a compelling narrative that your actions will help steer to its conclusion. For those who took part last year expect more of a shift a narrative focus, and for those who are new to crusading, welcome. The aim of a 40k Crusade is to blend the table top and story telling with a sprinkle of RPG elements thrown in. Units gain experience & level up, growing more powerful as they engage in combat, but this in not without risk. The best parts of any crusade (unless you ask a Black Templar) are the stories that you write with people along the way and that’s what we at Crossfire are all about.
There will be more details released over the coming weeks before combat begins in September. This year promises to be something a bit different but rest assured we have taken on board your feedback while still maintaining all the narrative fun that is a Crossfire Warhammer 40K Crusade.
