Crossfire Visits WCW for Inter-Club Showdown

Taking a Friendly Rivalry on the Road

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting the folks from West Coast Wargamers (WCW) at Crossfire Gaming Club for a friendly inter-club gaming session on one of our Monday nights. This past week, it was our turn to visit their club for the second leg of our little inter-club rivalry.

We made the trip out with seven of our players, eager to take on WCW crew on their home turf. Unfortunately, a few of their players were unable to make it, which was a bit of a shame. Nevertheless, we still had a great time and made the most of the games, with plenty of good laughs, intense battles, and some excellent sportsmanship on display.

Congrats to our boys and girls that came out on top, a good showing from everyone who attended. No doubt the folks from WCW will be looking to get us back! 🙂

Strengthening the Wargaming Community

One of the key goals of Crossfire Gaming Club is to help build and improve the wargaming scene in central Scotland (and further afield if we can make it). As such, we’re taking an active role in fostering connections with other clubs. Wargaming is more than just a hobby, it’s a community, and by engaging with fellow clubs, we’re ensuring that it continues to thrive.

We’ve already had great success engaging with clubs like Dumbarton Wargames Club, whom we visited last year for an awesome night of gaming.

Upcoming Matches and Future Events

We’re already gearing up for another exciting inter-club match this week as we head out to face the Caledonian Wildcats on Wednesday. Each of these matchups gives us an opportunity to not only test our skills but also reinforce relationships between clubs.
