Crossfire Joined Dumbarton Wargames Club for a Night of Epic Battles and Fun!
This past Sunday, members of Crossfire Gaming Club travelled to join the community at Dumbarton Wargames Club for an evening filled with Warhammer 40k battles and camaraderie! With ten games taking place across the night, players from both clubs came together not only for a bit of friendly competition but, more importantly, to share their love for the game.
The night was packed with tactical exchanges, lively table talk, and, most of all, fun! Crossfire and Dumbarton players enjoyed every moment of gameplay, from epic dice rolls to friendly banter. While Crossfire managed to come out on top in eight of the ten games, the true victory was in the friendships and memories made over the course of the evening. Check out some of our pics of the night below!
Taking Home the Coveted G.O.A.T. Trophy!
At the end of the night, Crossfire took home the ‘somewhat coveted’ G.O.A.T. Trophy! A light-hearted symbol of the warm rivalry between the two clubs and a testament to the fun had by all. Check it out in all it’s glory! It’ll have pride of place on our mantlepiece, at least until another club takes it off of us.
A massive thank you to Dumbarton Wargames Club for hosting, and cheers to everyone who brought their A-game and a great attitude to the tables. Here’s to more nights like these, where the focus is as much on enjoyment and shared experiences as it is on strategy and skill!
If you are local to the Dumbarton area, go check out the club, they are a great group of people!
Working with Other Clubs
We’ve been planning on working with other clubs to do events or cross-pollination gaming for a while, it’s great to finally be able to kick such things off! As helping to build up, support and expand the wargaming community is one of our core objectives.
We will no doubt do more things in the future with DWC but we are also happy to make more new friends and play other clubs. If you or your club would be interested in doing something do get in touch!
The club’s Fabricator General, Lord of the Forge and all-round heretic 🙂
