Hey Planeswalkers! Crossfire is excited to announce Monday Night Magic, a weekly gathering for Magic: The Gathering enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer eager to learn the game, we’re creating a fun, welcoming space for everyone to come together, meet fellow gamers, and sling spells!
What to Expect on Monday Nights
Our club nights aim to cater to all Magic fans, regardless of experience or preferred play style. While Commander is the most popular format (and likely to be a hit here), we’re open to exploring other formats based on interest. Do feel free to reach out on our Discord Server or on the night about any other formats you’d be interested in. Here’s a glimpse of what you can look forward to:
- Commander Pods: You can be sure to expect some fun games with fellow Commander fans.
- Other Formats: If you prefer Pioneer, Modern, Vintage, Legacy, let us know!
- Draft Events: With enough interest, we’ll be able to arrange a booster box for a draft. Let us know in advance if this something you’d be interested in!
Feeling adventurous? You can even challenge me and the “girls” (White Plume Adventurer and Seasoned Dungeoneer) to a game of Canadian Highlander!
New to Magic? No Problem!
If you’re new to Magic: The Gathering, we’d love to introduce you to the game and help you get started. Here’s what we offer for newcomers:
- Intro Duel Decks: Try out the game with our club’s duel decks, available for teaching sessions or personal play.
- Guidance: We’re here to walk you through the game’s mechanics, ensuring you have a smooth and enjoyable introduction.
- Bring a Friend: Thinking of introducing a friend to Magic? Borrow our intro decks and play a few casual games together!
